Lamorna Morning a song recorded by Peter Crisp and Kevin Dempsey, released for purchase with proceeds donated to St Petrocs

Crisp and Dempsey have written and produced an album called “Time For You”. It’s a blend of folk, jazz and some atmospheric sounds reminiscent of relaxing summer afternoons and winds its way through a musical journey guaranteed to lift the spirits.

They approached St Petrocs with a wish to dedicate a song from their album, Lamorna Morning to our clients and services.

You can buy the song  for £1.00 and all proceeds raised will be donated towards the costs of running the St Petrocs services.

Dave Brown from St Petrocs said, “This is not the first time Peter has supported us. He is a true supporter of our work and we really love the album which he and Kevin have made. We’re really lucky that such talented people are behind us all the way. Thank you, Peter and Kevin!”

Peter Crisp said, “We are dedicating this song to St Petrocs, the local charity that does wonderful work to provide shelter and food for Cornwall’s homeless population. The song is a celebration of feeling at home,”

Peter continues “You’ve heard many times of people falling in love with a place, but have you ever heard of a place falling in love with a person? This was the odd premise that led to the composition of this song. And the thought: how lucky we are if we have a roof over our heads! So, spare a thought for those less fortunate. You can download our song by visiting bandcamp.com. Look for Peter Crisp and Lamorna Morning. All proceeds will go to St Petrocs.”
