Poem of the Week: Rick Stein

Rick Stein reads ‘Infant Joy’ by William Blake, as part of our Poem of the Week, a feature throughout the winter of 2018–19, raising awareness of our campaign to end street homelessness in Cornwall.

Rick Stein CBE is a chef, restaurateur, cookery book author and television presenter. He is best known for a love of fresh seafood and made his name with his earliest books and television series based on his life as chef and owner of The Seafood Restaurant in the fishing port of Padstow on the North Coast of Cornwall.

Over the winter of 2018–19 we will be sharing a different poem each week which will be read by notable figures, exploring the themes that resonate with our campaign.
