St Petrocs joins in with The Big Lunch 2019

St Petrocs staff, clients, volunteers, supporters and partner agencies came together to enjoy food and companionship.

A whole host of events were carried out across Cornwall.
Events took place both with St Petrocs clients and staff and others were run by supporters of St Petrocs.

BBC Radio Cornwall attended the Big Lunch at one of our houses and reported on the event across the weekend.

It was a fantastic opportunity for us to gather people together to enjoy each others’ company, to create new friendships and to be able to say “thank you” to all our supporters.

Tom enjoyed his first ever Cornish Cream Tea!

Residents enjoyed making home cooked foods, including cakes, scones and trying their hand at home made pizza dough

Sunday Afternoon Tea volunteers with donations from Rowes Bakery and Truro Sainsbury's

Generosity and goodwill was in abundance as many of the events were supported by volunteers and local food providers, such as Sainsbury’s and Rowes Bakery who donated delicious pasties and foods for the gatherings.

Jan, one of our volunteers, making up tasty scones - jam first of course!

Even the local Police came along for a cuppa and some cake!
