To ensure our clients’ essential needs are met, we are remaining open with some measures put in place to safeguard St Petrocs clients, staff and volunteers.
We are extremely grateful for the support of the community at this time, and we have a couple of practical requests to help ensure we can continue to run essential services for people who are experiencing homelessness in Cornwall.
How you can help
- If anyone has any stocks at home of hand sanitizer, please can you consider sharing a bottle with us as it is difficult for our street homeless clients to wash their hands with soap and water regularly.
- We are also in need of a supply of fresh, clean towels – lots of hand washing here!
If you have any other donations, we’re asking if you could kindly hold on to them for the time being as we are keeping the amount of visits to our centres to a minimum.
With regard to the incredibly generous offers of support from people who wish to volunteer to help us at this time, regrettably, we’re unable to recruit any more volunteers at present. We wish to take this opportunity to say an enormous thank you, we are very grateful for these expressions of support of our services at this time, it is a great encouragement for us and our clients.
Please watch this space for further updates or requests.
