St Petrocs win South West Community Award at FSB Awards

St Petrocs are celebrating after being crowned as winners of the FSB South West Community Award at the FSB ‘Celebrating Small Business Awards 2020’ held in Taunton this week.

Dave Brown, from St Petrocs, told the audience at the awards dinner he hoped the FSB award would shine a light on the vital work they do in the county – and admitted the team were shocked to win.

“This is absolutely brilliant – we are flabbergasted to be honest. It means so much to us to win something like this and it gives us a great platform to recognise the efforts of our staff, supporters and volunteers.”

The FSB ‘Celebrating Small Business Awards’ launched in 2017 and celebrates the best of the UK’s thriving small business sector at both regional and national levels.

Lee Nathan, the FSB Regional Chairman for the South West, said the diversity and strength of the region’s small business community was perfectly illustrated at the awards: “It was a fantastic day which showed the amazing range of small businesses we have in the South West. More people than ever entered our awards this time…celebrating the small business community.”
