Both our resource centres have volunteer and partner led activities taking place which creates further opportunities to people accessing our services.
Many of these groups provide a place to talk and have refreshments and company.
Truro Resource Centre
Our Truro resource centre is in the heart of the city and provides a host of activities to give people support and wellbeing
On Tuesday afternoons, volunteers run Coffee Corner, providing some refreshments and company to those who need a listening ear.
Thursday afternoons KerNomads art group run with light refreshments and volunteers providing encouragement and support to people who wish to join in.
A local podiatrist runs a voluntary foot clinic once a month, providing much needed care to people’s feet, who have often been on their feet all day, or who have had wet feet for prolonged periods of time.
Truro Supper Club
The Truro Supper Clubs provide hot meals out of the Truro resource centre on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Volunteers open up the centre to provide nourishing food a company in the evenings to people who are homeless in Truro. There is now an additional Afternoon Tea on a Sunday providing cold foods and cakes.
Breadline in Penzance
Our Penzance resource centre provides drop-in services, clubs, art group activities and hot cooked breakfasts.
Breadline Computer Drop-In
On Tuesday mornings Breadline Computer Drop-In is run by volunteers who set up computers and provide support to those wishing to access computer and internet services for their communications and for searching for housing and employment.
On Wednesdays, volunteers deliver a Chess Group.
On Thursdays, Roaming Penzance is run by Roaming CIC who deliver an inclusive art group with nourishing food for lunch.
Every day of the week there is a hot cooked breakfast provided by Churches Together in Penzance Area for people experiencing homelessness.
